Formas is the site of product and shoe designer Laura Villasensin. She wanted both blog functionality and passwork protected portfolio. In the future she might want to use the site to retail her own shoes.

A Quick win – a mashup

We wanted to have a feature that would drive traffic and search engine page rank. We used Yahoo! Pipes to combine feeds from a number prominent fashion blogs and filtered them for news on shoes.

The result: A continuous feed of the hottest shoe news.

This is good because:

• It is this useful to visitors of her site, there is no similar aggregation of shoe news on the web.
• Secondly, it is indexed by Google and supplying a wealth of fashion and shoe related keywords that pulls in fashion internet searchers.

WEB 2.0 – Bookmark sharing

We also recommended to Laura to save her favourite websites to the delicious bookmark sharering system.

We created a page and published her product design delicious tag cloud. Why? So that other users can access and use it. Another reason to visit the site.
