The key challenge online is how to ensure people actually find and see your web site. The Web is revolutionary and your site is accessible from anywhere. But so is millions of other websites, all competing for those valuable eyeballs.

So get good at producing content that satisfies your users, readers, viewers, shoppers or players needs first. Be an expert in your field, and inform your customers about it. Be responsive and open. The Web’s architecture really just encourages and rewards good practice.

Why? Because this is what most search engines, in particular Google, tweak their search algorithm to achieve. To deliver to their users the best search results for their needs, the best the web can offer.
